  • Shear over comb and any and anything 40’s inspired.

  • Because I love detailed work and the challenge of learning how to do this job well

  • When a man can be described as dapper and a lil’ bit greaser — all with the same haircut.
  • What do you consider a successful haircut?
  • A successful haircut is when a guy leaves here feeling like he looks so good he needs to go out right after to try out his cut on the bar crowd.
  • Why should I let you cut my hair?
  • You should let me cut your hair because I have amazing taste. You will look good when you leave my chair no questions.
  • Have any great styling advice for these guys?
  • Yes, use product! I can’t say this enough. A good paste and a comb can make your hair perfect. I love a strong side part too!

  • Longer than I am willing to tell you!
  • What would you say is your specialty in men’s haircutting?
  • I love doing clipper work. It’s the old school way to cut men’s hair and its a lot more difficult to master than people think.

  • I think I just fell into it and then I was hooked!

  • Clean and short! The way men’s hair is supposed to be!

  • When a client tells me he has never liked his haircut soo much, you’d be surprised how often we hear that.
  • What’s the best thing about working at Swagger?
  • Its fun to be my clients’ wingman everyday.

  • My only advice is to talk to your stylist and then listen to her advice! Our consultations are individualized to each and everyone of you! Trust me, I would never steer you wrong.

  • When the client leaves my chair happy and I feel that I have exceeded their expectations.

  • I can fix all of that problem hair some of you guys tend to struggle with.

  • It never fails to challenge me on a daily basis.

  • I’m really just all across the board when it comes to my “style”. I can cut your basic tapered haircut, and also rock out some serious rockstar hair.

  • I can just feel it.

  • I most likely will not tell you exactly what you want to hear about how your hair will be cut, but i will tell you that it will be the best haircut you have ever had.

  • In a perfect world you would all look like Brad Pitt. Reality is you don’t. Work with what you have and own it.

  • I get to do what I love all the time! I wish that everybody could have a job like mine!

  • When they come back and see me again and again and complain constantly when they can’t get in with me right away. Makes a girl feel all special.
  • Have you ever cut a mullet? If so, was it on purpose or on accident?
  • Yep, I grew up in the middle of cornfields near Dekalb, enough said.

  • Less is more but something is always better than nothing.

  • Since I was old enough to know what hair was. Professionally, just shy of 5 years.
  • What would you say is your specialty in men’s haircutting?
  • If I have to pick just one: texturizing.
  • What’s the best thing about working at Swagger?
  • The men.

  • If my client leaves more confident, more knowledgeable about his hair, and had an overall dope time, I’d say that’s successful.

  • I see hairstyling as a collaborative art. My work style adapts to your style.
  • Why do you choose to cut men’s hair exclusively?
  • I fell in love with the idea of a men’s salon run by women. Men have a different way of looking at the salon experience. I trust my abilities, and my clients do too.

  • All the girls I work with.  They are amazing people who care about making clients feel their best.

  • When the client leaves happy and the wife approves.

  • Tapered and short. Keepin’ it clean.

  • Men’s hair is more challenging than women’s.  You really have to pay attention to the detail.  I love it!
